NO IMAGE ON THE
PAPER...
Machines this
applies to: Ryobi
2800, 3200, 3200MCD; Itek 960, 975, 985
- Sometimes the
vertical image adjustment on the blanket cylinder is moved far enough on the
previous job that a small image on the next job misses the paper.
Before you call for service try zeroing out your vertical adjustment.
- Did you just change
blankets? Check to be sure the new blanket is .100" - .105"
thick (5 ply).
- Did you just have a
paper jam in the feeder? If so the feeler fingers may be bent,
preventing the impression latch from working properly. This will
require a service call.
- Do you hear
occasional "popping" sounds while the paper is feeding? Your
impression latch clearance may have changed. This also requires a
service call. This problem can also occur on the plate-to-blanket
cylinder latch.
