In 1980 Tom began servicing printing equipment for UniCopy Corporation, which was the Arizona dealer for Itek Graphic Products. While there he attended factory service schools for many of the Itek cameras and duplicators. In 1983 he became service manager for Starline Graphic Products, the Ryobi dealer. In late 1985, when Starline closed their doors, Tom and his wife Linda started their own service business, Tom Jonas Graphic Service.
